Missed Traditions

I should have been eating pumpkin pie for breakfast with Madilyn and Caleb both choosing apple pie. Donna and I would have started cooking, and there would be games and laughter while waiting on dinner.

I cannot fathom being in the house today. So here I sit in a hotel room hanging out without Caleb. It is not the old traditions which I miss. Caleb is missed. I am thankful for my family and will enjoy the day with them and friends, but I take this minute to miss my son.
