Styx

His hurt, pain, and depression did not go away. It is transferred to me.

Maybe this is a law of conservation, but not one of physics.

I knew he struggled over missing familial bonds and friends who left early.

Now I feel as he did, wondering why things are and why others are not to be.

Staying up all hours reflecting where things went wrong,

Or why I am so broken.

Staring at a device which connects the world,

But no one is on the other side.

No one listening.

Talking to myself;

Arguing.

Accusations fly

While tears stream into the river, Styx.
