God Is In the Doubt Review

“The raw emotion David portrayed in his writing is very commendable and made this read enjoyable. Even though I cannot relate to his trials, I understood his emotional doubt throughout the book. Honestly, my faith in God was shaky at times while reading because I did not understand how or why He would allow a person to go through this much pain… Couples who have had difficulty having children may relate to the author’s cry for help and consistent questioning of why this had to happen.”

Katie Canedy wrote a fantastic review of God Is In the Doubt, but then only gave it 3 out of 4 stars only because she found my use of probabilities “confusing”.  Math can be difficult for some people but all other reviews I have heard state my math is not too difficult. Let me know what you think!

She only found six errors in the book and “I can say that it was professionally edited.” Well, it was not professionally edited, but I had a lot of help from my wife, Donna, and my good friend, Jay. Both helped make the story clearer and the math more accessible. The six errors, though I am sure there must be more, are all mine.

Overall I am pleased with the review. If the only flaw Katie had was my use of “advanced scientific explanations”, I am thrilled! As one person commented, “The scientific notation and analysis could not serve as flaws for me.” It is only in one chapter, do not let it cause you to not read the book!
